A two day international conference was held in Bogor, Indonesia, on 9-10 April 2010, focusing on potential actions of Islamic communities to help tackle climate change. The conference was attended by 200 Muslim scholars, activists and government representatives from 15 Islamic countries. This includes participants from Malaysia, Japan, United Kingdom, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Philippines, Madagascar, South Africa, Australia, Libya, Uzbekistan, Iran, the United States and Indonesia.
