The Centre for Islamic Studies (PPI) at Universitas Nasional working in collaboration with the Ministry of Forestry Director of Biodivesity Conservation, Alliance of Religion and Conservation (ARC), UK, Fauna and Flora International (FFI), WWF, HarimauKita, inquire a Fatwa (Edict) of the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) in order to involve muslim awareness in the protection of endangered wildlife in Indonesia. The MUI then released the Fatwa No 4, 2014 about Protection of Endangered Wildlife for the Balance of Ecosystem.
